Really a great restaurant and even better service. The food at Sakura exceeded my expectations. I came here to find a new Japanese (Sushi) restaurant in my area to have more options and in my first attempt I think I found it. Sakura has great sushi and roles. What User doesn't like about Sakura Gables Japanese:
Average fair with some hit and misses. Unfortunately almost all sushi places make their rolls without adequate vinegar in the rice so it’s bland. Wait staff is very friendly but I did not enjoy most of the dishes especially the green scallions pancake which was mushy instead of a nice crispy tortilla dish. Dry udon was flavorful. The restaurant features charming little tables by the windows, as well as larger family-style tables in the center. The food is absolutely delicious! The staff is very friendly, and our meals were served promptly. The picky eater in our group really enjoyed the shumai, fried rice, and udon noodles. For dessert, the mango sorbet was a delightful treat. Just a heads-up, parking is available in the back, so be sure not to park at the front of the building.
This is a family tradition for us and our favorite spot for authentic Japanese food in Miami-Dade! We will always return because the food is consistently excellent, the service is outstanding, and the same chef has maintained this A1+ quality for over 25 years.
The food here is outstanding, and they offer a wide variety of rolls. We really appreciate the selection of riceless and vegetable rolls! Additionally, the staff couldn't be friendlier.
This is my favorite restaurant in the country. It’s authentic, delciious, easy, comfortable, and just perfect. I cannot say enough good things. To me this is the perfect restaurant. The moose roll is my go to but my husband who doesn’t eat sushi swears by the chicken katsu. Everything I’ve ever ordered is perfect. I just love this place very much.
All I can say is that Santana Roll has my heart forever
