The food was really good. The pork mojo bun was delicious and so was the crispy tuna. Highly recommended it. Friendly staff. The only thing is I would like to be able to built the bowl my way. View all feedback.
The word poké simply means 'chunk ' in Hawaiian. Chef Daniel 's version of 'poké ' translates to sublime intermingling of fresh cubed ahi served atop purest Japanese sushi rice cooked to perfection, where subtle hints of soy and sesame bring together bold, savory, rounded flavors. The idea of eating a bowl as a meal is definitely intriguing and trending right now. So is fresh, healthy, gluten free and affordable. The crispy rice tuna was out of this world, a texture and taste explosion of raw fish and toasted rice married into a blissful union. A must try for all self acclaimed foodies and those simply looking for the perfect storm of great food and ambience. Pokebao is a no-fuss environment, and eating anything from the menu reminds you of being somewhere on the beach listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.
A casual place in the Gables with incredible food. You don't always have to break the bank to get the best, this is one of those places. There is something for everyone on the menu.
My absolute favorite Poke in South FLA. We keep coming back and it never disappoints. Super fresh fish perfect balance of protein and carbs. The spicy tuna bowl is on point. Perfectly paired with the Longboard Hanalei IPA.
