I appreciate finding a dedicated gluten free restaurant during my trip to Miami. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich had great flavor. However, the bread over powered the chicken. I only ate the bottom half of the sandwich. It could have also used lettuce and tomato or something to spruce it up a bit. The onion rings were great and were heavily breaded. I took off half of the breading... View all feedback.
What thalia aceves doesn't like about Dora's Bakery And Bistro:
this what i payed $46 for, some chicken tenders that look like they been freeze dried, like 3 pieces and a bunch of fries that tasted like paper, ontop of that the bread tasted like a somebody stepped on it and it was super sour, no presentation at all. this is called a bistro but they have only pod coffee no cappuccinos like what?! how do you even keep a business open like this i feel robbed. they couldnt even mash... The onion rings were great and were heavily breaded. I took off half of the breading on each ring.I also tried the pound cake almond brownie. The cake was a bit dry and crumbly and the almond brownie was ok.Overall, I’d rate the food a four and the service a five.Dietary restrictions: This is a dedicated gluten free restaurant.

Best Gluten free place I have ever tried. They were so sweet and gave me a little extra treat because they didn't have arugula for my sandwich. I will be ordering from them
I am from Michigan, I’ve had this place saved on my phone for my next FL visit, I drove almost 45 min from my hotel to try this with my friends. I was extremely excited to try the things I used to eat all the time and no longer can. After arriving, I was told that the fryer wasn’t working. The guy behind the counter told me it would work again in 30 min to an hour, I gave him my number so he can call me once it’s up and running again so I stayed in the area. An hour went by, I gave them a call and he said oh it was working then stopped again and it’ll be fixed in an hour, I called again in an hour, he said it would be another hour or two. It seemed like they didn’t want to use the fryer or he knew it wasn’t going to work and kept jerking me around and wasting two hours of my time doing absolutely nothing in the area, it would’ve been a different story if he just said hey it’s not working today or if he had just used my number to let me know. Anyway, complete let down and will not attempt to go back.
The place is a small shop, but you still seat a few people. The service was excellent and prompt. The man who took our order was knowledgeable of the ingredients used and was able to indicate what I could eat based on my dietary restrictions. The croqueta preparda was delicious; I would definitely make the drive just for it as well as for the uncooked Serrano croquetas that we bought to fry at home. The pies, however, tasted whereas if they were a day or two old, and the crust did not have much flavor, nor was it flaky; it was more on the crumbling side as if it was undercooked. I ordered the lemon pie, the passion fruit, and the key lime pie.Nevertheless, I would be going back to try the rest of the menu as someone extremely allergic to gluten is a solid option, and I wish the business all the best so it prospers and grows to havemore locations.
