Caja Caliente Coral Gables

Small and nice place for snack like Cuban Latin food. We came for an early dinner and got the disco volador with vaca frita (and a thousand plantain chips), croqueta with queso manchego and the shrimp tacos . We highly recommend the aioli as a dip to the chips, does make a difference.

I had Caja Caliente cater a meal for my bachelorette party. It was delicious! The food was so good and they were incredibly accommodating. I had some dietary restrictions in the group as well as a lot of questions. The team was responsive and very helpful in directing me to choose the right items and portions for my group. The food was great as leftovers too all weekend. I would definitely recommend eating there or getting catering from Caja Caliente!

Have been to this restaurant twice and the food and service was excellent each time. Love the fresh take on classic Hispanic cuisine. Can't wait to come back!
