My wife and I tried the buffet weekend brunch on recommendation from a colleague. For the price of 11.99 and the 10% off discount with the Encore card, the meal is a good value. Brunch items include a decent salad bar, regular breakfast items, and some lunch items such as salmon, mussels, clams, carved ham, and chicken wings. So good! So many favourites such as calamari with tzatziki, chicken and lamb, Greek salad and so much more. And of course desert, lol! It was all delicious. Perhaps a little pricey though at $16.99 per person.
For the Encore Card price you pay, it is VERY good. Where else can you go to get a full service buffet for $15 including tax and entertainment? Also one of the best fresh dessert bars in the Greater Vancouver area. Also themed buffet dinners including the Asian Buffet - Every Tuesday; Italian Buffet - Every Wednesday and Greek Buffet - Every Thursday. Plus your standard Medium Rare Prime Rib. Sure the roasted chicken was a little dry but that was just a minor draw back.Overall the service and the food was very good. I would definitely comeback for n inexpensive all you can eat buffet.
Terrible buffet thats best avoided. Vegetable lasagna that tasted like it had been glued together.Slabs of thick pork slices that along with their spare ribs tasted like the pig had put up a terrific struggle before its eventual demise.Thin strips of basra marinated in other thin strips of basra. Mixed vegetables tasted like they were straight out of the Safeway bag without the luxury of being de-thawed.Tiny veg spring rolls that looked as if they indeed they had been sprung, from where God only knows!Fries were good as long as you had not eaten for days. The rest of the dihes unable to comment on as half the trays were empty and nobody around to refill them. Which in retrospect may have been a blessing!
