Soul Cup Cafe - Coquitlam

Went there three times as of today, over the past two years. Imo, this store's one of the top five best bubble tea place in the Greater Vancouver region. The young female staff today was really nice, and they seem to let us wait inside the store now.The watermelon+honeydew slushie I got today was delicious! I highly recommend the mugwort bbt and oreo bbts as well.

The cashiers are really patient which is appreciated since they have so many great options for teas!Food: 5/5

I had the Lavender Earl Grey Milk Tea which was very good. The pearls were a little weird but that’s just personal preference.However, when I came back inside to grab my drink, one of the workers got mad at me because someone else was ordering? I was honestly confused because there is plenty of room inside the store and me picking my drink off the counter doesn’t interfere with anything. Not to be rude, but her scolding me was the only thing interrupting the customer who was ordering.It’s a shame because Soul Cup has good drinks and I’m sure they’d get more business if customers didn’t have to feel uneasy from simple interactions with the staff.

My 11 year old daughter and I decided to try this place recently. My daughter was super excited to order her first boba. The lady who served us was incredibly rude. We had a few questions given that we had never ordered bubble tea before. She was so rude and condescending each time we asked a question and was so exasperated with us. The second time we visited, we had a lovely teenage girl serving us. Very sweet and respectful. She even gave us a replacement drink when they forgot to put in the jelly. The third time we visited we were served by the same cranky, dispectful woman from our first visit. We were trying to decide on our order and she very rudely told me to step away from the counter. No manners. She has so many bad reviews here. She seriously needs to take a class on customer service. She ruins the experience and giving the business a bad name. On the up side, the slushes are very good but I'm afraid that isn't enough for me to be a returning customer. We will take our business elsewhere as boba is a treat and we want a pleasant experience all around. My daughter is afraid of her!!

Going to the store with a bright mood hoping to try a new bubble tea place that my friend recommended me to go to. When I was waiting for the drink, the overweight lady with an attitude told me to Get out of the way , Stand over here . It was absolutely unreal, appalling attitude. I would never come back to this store and would tell everyone not to come here as well. Drink is also mediocre as well. Too bad I cannot give them negative stars.
