After serving our foods, the waitress started cleaning the table next to us using a bleach chemical, chlorine fume effected a person with asthma setting next to where she was cleaning. When she was asked kindly if she was cleaning using chlorine since we have someone with asthma, her answer was that she must keep cleaning the table using something!We asked the front desk for a manager, the answer was that there is no manager on site!To our surprise, the server came back to our table confronting us saying that she have asked 'the' manager and was told that they are only using bleach and not chlorine....they are the same(!) And she have never heard about this before and that she is just telling us about facts! Poor service, very rude and aggressive behavior. Chlorine fume can cause severe reaction to people with asthma. Bad experience and not recommended.

It is a well known 18 hole course that is cleverly hidden within the suburban community.... read more The Westwood Golf and Country Club is located high above Coquitlam, BC. It is a well known 18 hole course that is cleverly hidden within the suburban community. The main draw to the Club is obviously the golf experience which is both exciting and challenging.After a long day on the links many tend to simply head home.However, the golfer is missing a treat. The Rogues Bar and Grill is located in the lobby area but has a fantastic view from the adjoining outdoor patio. Being high on the plateau and overlooking the 18th fare way is a nice place to have a dinner or lunch.The food was very good and moderately priced. The menu is large enough that it can provide a dinner option other than the regular eateries located at the bottom of the plateau. Parking is free and there is a lot of it. No crowds and no line ups. We think it is nice option to go for a quiet dinner. Nice atmosphere.

The service was excellent,... read more The restaurant has a fantastic location with a lovely outdoor deck that is perfect for meeting up with friends after a game of golf. The service was excellent, but the meals lacked a bit of excitement. They were better than average, but not outstanding. The Chicken Penne was decent, however, the chicken was slightly dry and lacking in flavor.
