I go here for lunch at least every other week, sometimes more often. It is a family business and they are all friendly, welcoming, and hard-working. The décor is not fancy but the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Perry, the cook, makes almost everything from fresh ingredients and the menu is extensive. I love this place! Family run and great food. Only open for breakfast and lunch no dinner. Not sure what is like during the week but weekends are busy.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I know it's a greasy spoon type of place but wanted a hot lunch in the area. The food was quite good. The coffee was nice and hot which is not often with greasy spoon places. Of course it's not fancy coffee but it was still good for a cold snowy day. The service was very friendly and down to earth. It satisfied my need for hot and hearty food. I would definitely come here again.
First impression: Family diner/ Greasy Spoon/ Mom and Pop.Overall cleanliness: Not bad but not good either. 6/10 Bathroom cleanliness: Same. Service: No frills. Simple and efficient. Don't expect big smiles or comfortable small talk with the server. Menu: Standard diner grub. Meal experience: Acceptable Lunch Meal Presentation: Good Taste: Standard Portion Size: Average and acceptable. Cost: InexpensiveFinal thoughts: My only concern would be the overall hygiene of the staff. The server lifted used drinking glasses by the rims. The cook left the kitchen to do whatever and I did not see him wash his hands on return to the open kitchen. I suspect that the level of cleanliness behind the scenes is a possible concern. Eat here if you are a like regular western diner food and have simple expectations.
Ok, so I'm not really into greasy spoon type restaurants, however after some convincing from my better half we decided to check it out. WOW, was I impressed! We were looking for someplace to have breakfast and when my wife spotted the sign we decided to try it. We both had "The Big Mess", a combination of eggs, mushrooms, cheese, bacon, onions and pan fried potatoes. Combined on the plate, it really looked like "a big mess" but the flavor? FANTASTIC. All served together on a plate with a side of toast as well. Really great food. As a matter of fact, it was so good we went back the next weekend and had the same thing all over again. The next time, just this past weekend, we went there for our third visit and I had one of their tremendous burgers. Served with fries it was so big I couldn't even eat it all and man was it delicious! Cooked to perfection!.The service was great, smiles and very friendly with just the right amount of attention paid so that we could really enjoy our meal without interruptions. So, what could be better than that? how about the prices. Extremely reasonable. My wife, myself and my 14 year old son ate there and the bill was just a tad over $20 and that included a coffee and a pop. So, if your looking for a great little "hole in the wall" for a quick bite and some fantastic food, try the Plaza Café.
