Rio Brazilian Steakhouse - Coquitlam

I made a reservation with my children at 17 o'clock for a Mother's Day. Saturday, I received a notification at 5:20 that I was late for my reservation. that was after I told the host repeatedly that it was for sunday! I called and tried to correct the error, but they could not find my reservation. it turned out they had the wrong name. not sure how they get t nick from vicki, but, hey!? what do I know? Almost Sunday we were a little late, so I called to let them know. they didn't have my reservation. To be honest, I should have left it and go somewhere else. that was terrible! the server tried to serve me a steak cut, says he was rib eye, but was not! when I told him it wasn't a nativity, he argued with me. I think I know my meat cuts! it was shoe leather. the whole meat was overcooked and hard. at one point I almost shot on a piece of dry meat. to supplement injuries, our meals cost us a poor and a bit for very little and terrible food. I'm so disgusting, I'll never be back. the only reason I give this 1 star is because there is no other option. this place deserves a zero-star rating

Disappointing experience again. We made a reservation for a New Years celebration, but there was no celebration at all. The ad says “Welcome 2022 with us” and mention that includes a glass of bubbly to toast, but at 10:30 they told us they were about...to close the restaurant. What a scam! Also, there was no salad/hot side dishes bar, we had to ask to the server and she brought the dishes in tiny containers with very little food, not even close to be enough for 4 people. All you can eat? I don’t think so. So, when they said they were closing we asked for our glass of bubbly and the bill, which took a long time to arrive. They usually charge $42 for the exact same dinner, for New Years they charged $68, so we paid about $26 for a cheap glass of sparkling wine. At least they served a decent amount of meat and most of the servers were friendly. It was definitely my last time at this restaurant, I’m not coming back. There is a reason they have so many bad reviews.

Great service but the worst food I have had at a Brazilian steakhouse. Not much taste and the meat was extremely tough and sinewy. For $200 for a family of 4 I will spend my money elsewhere.

First time and had a wondeful experience. Meat comes along as much as you want for as much as you can eat. You pick your sides. It was lovely not to be rushed. Place was busy so bookings are deifnately recommended. Staff friendly. Definately a...place to come back too

Would not recommend this restaurant. The Service was awful. Ordered side dishes and only got a few of them. We had to continually ask for what we ordered. Selection of meat could be better. Server would only have a little bit of meat to offer...our table and some of the guests with us didn’t get some of the meat. The bathrooms are disgusting and needs a good cleaning and repair. Men’s washroom only had one stall and it was out of order. The meal is very pricey for what you get. We had been to this restaurant last year and it was so much better. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant,
