Was Steve T at Copper Grille a mag?
The restaurant is welcoming and well-managed. The golf course offers a challenging and enjoyable experience, featuring both wet and dry areas due to water that collects from the hills into the valleys. I was surprised to find many water hazards, as the area appears dry overall. The local community is tight-knit and friendly. The restaurant provides good food and boasts a beautiful resort atmosphere. The golf carts ar... View all feedback.
What Andrew V dislikes about Copper Grille:
It's ok. Service and food are decent. It is a bit pricy for what you are getting but it's a golf course so I was not surprised. Great view of the course and I'll probably be back because my mom just moved there. Was underwhelmed with the mixed drink quality but the bar tender is a sweetheart and was good at taking all of the **** we were giving her. View all feedback.
While the food itself was enjoyable, the service continued to disappoint. After we received our meals, there were no refills or check-ins from the staff. When it came time to order dessert, we picked the crème brûlée, only to be informed ten minutes later that it had already sold out earlier in the day. We understand that things can happen, but after such a lackluster experience, this felt like the final straw, especially since there was again no apology or effort to rectify the situation. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I know that sometimes you just have off days. However, it was clear that there was no manager present and that customer service values were not being emphasized among the staff. I wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner unless you're just looking to golf and grab a drink.

Upon our arrival, we were told to pick any table for our group of five. After sitting down, we were handed menus but had to ask for the wine list ourselves. A staff member approached us to ask if we wanted drinks, and when I ordered champagne, she acknowledged me but then walked away without taking drink orders from the other four at our table. I was unclear on what her actual role was since the bartender was also serving as our waitress. She appeared overwhelmed by the lunch crowd, which included three tables and some golfers at the bar, and unfortunately, no one seemed to be assisting her. Eventually, we called her over to place our orders. She was a lovely young woman, but we waited a long time for our food, which was disappointing even for a golf course. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich, which consisted of just tuna with tarragon and nothing else; it was quite dry. The pickle was tough, and the coleslaw was overly sweet and chunky, making it inedible. Two other diners ordered the club sandwich, which was acceptable but very dry as well, lacking mayo or lettuce. Another group chose the quinoa salad, which they said had too much lettuce and veggies with very little quinoa, and the Dijon dressing overwhelmed everything. When the bill finally arrived, it was incorrect. It took her two attempts to fix it. Since we were splitting the bill, the manager added to the confusion. It took her and two others another 10 to 15 minutes to correct the erroneous charges and provide the proper amount for splitting the bill. So, once the bill was presented, it took an additional 20 minutes to finalize the payment. Although the waitress/bartender was friendly and the view of the golf course was beautiful, I don’t think we’ll be returning. The slow service, mediocre food, and ineffective management left a lot to be desired.
The service was awesome they were very polite. Enjoying the view while watching the golfers
What a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious. I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the French Dip. We chose a table at the window inside on the 18th hole which was pretty amazing. It was very bright and clean. Our server was new, but did a very good job. The bartender was pretty busy with golfers, but found that he could have communicated with our server since they were out of the beer we ordered and it took a while for her to find that out. Otherwise, we'll be back!
