Yes you can at Meatza food truck at the Kennecott mine site in Wrangell St. Elias. I had the Carnitas Tacos and my wife had the Meatball sandwich, both excellent. It 's all outdoor seating, with a roofed shelter available. Update: we went back next day, I had the same carnitas tacos, wife had the Chicken burrito special, and we got the fresh baked and still warm chocolate chip cookies. Delish! Just walk up, order, and eat other places nearby need reservations or not available unless you are a lodge guest. Reasonable prices, and great views of the glaciers and mountains surrounding this historic mining area in the middle of a very remote National Park. Vegetarian options: For a place that is named Meatza it 's surprising they do have some vegetarian selections. Kid friendliness: Chocolate chip cookies baked on site. The pasta salad was delicious: there was many cold drink options and a nice view. We even went back and got ice cream cups after our second hike . Fast, friendly service and delicious food.
