My ladies Bible Study group is meeting here during the off-season. Some of us eat and some don't, but none of the staff is concerned. What Seth Neel doesn't like about Black Walnut Cafe:
They don’t serve you but still ask for a tip, everything is overpriced but the place looks really fancy so if you just wanna come in and take pictures it’s a great place to go but if you just want food go someone else. View all feedback.
Great place Happy hour is awesome. Wings and queso is spot on.
Food is good but nothing to write home about. It is pretty much a higher quality cheesecake factory as there are many items of different cuisines, but they all are of great quality.

I only give 3 stars for atmosphere because it is freeeeeezing inside (must dress in layers) and loud for conversation. Otherwise we are really enjoying our visits there!
I had a hamburger that was delicious. It was made to order. I requested a medium well burger, and the cook nailed it. The server was kind and attentive. I was impressed by the bar offerings. Although I passed on enjoying an adult beverage, my friends enjoyed mimosas with their meals. This is definitely a Happy Hour place or a great spot to enjoy a lighter fare meal. . .and an adult beverage.
Order and prepay/pretip at the counter. Self serve drinks. Nice staff. Food tastes good. Plenty of gravy on entrees. We asked for French toast to come out as a dessert, but it was brought to us before entrees. We had already pretipped 20% so didn't really matter I guess.
