I never imagined I would find a taco restaurant inside a gas station. We moved to Texas about a year ago, and I guess this is a pretty common thing here—definitely not like Ohio! We decided to give it a try and they were a bit rushed in taking our order, but every single bite was delicious. We tried three different kinds of tacos, although I’m still not sure about one of them. The corn on the side had great flavor but was a tad too creamy for my taste. While it might be less traditional, it would be really helpful if the menu provided descriptions of the dishes so I could know exactly what I was ordering.
However, I do have to mention that the amount of salsa and lime they give is a bit disappointing. I love salsa, and they could definitely give more. I like to have both green and a little red salsa on all my tacos, but they can be a bit stingy when I ask for extra. Also, they should offer more lime. Years ago, I even asked if I could buy their salsa, but they never allowed it.
