When I recently returned, the staff didn’t know how to process a transaction with the gift card. It’s clearly a training issue, not the fault of the employees. The ice cream was fine, but the overall experience was disappointing.

I've never seen a Carvel so busy that the line extended out the door. It seemed like they were too busy to clean the outdoor tables. Perhaps they could benefit from having an additional staff member. It's convenient that they offer outdoor seating.
