Mahalle - Copenhagen

I wanted to give 5 stars but the app only allows 4 cause the restaurant is not vegan/veg. If you want great, tasty vegan and a reasonable price, you should try Mahalle

The menu offers a lot of vegan options to choose from and they are clearly labelled. It's really nice to choose plenty of the small dishes and share them, so you can try many different tasty dishes during one visit. Usually, I would give 4 stars but unfortunately the waitress was really unfriendly yesterday. We didn't feel welcomed at all. Also they brought all the food, so we could watch the food getting colder before getting cutlery and plates 5 minutes later after asking for it. It was a bit odd. Maybe the waitress serving us had just a bad day, otherwise I would rather recommend to get the food delivered. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-22

It is a place where you can find other vegan options than falafel in Nørrebro. Enjoy great food and beautiful Fairouz songs.

The food was nice, but I was missing part. Fattush was too water and many of the other dishes were fine in quality, but I was not impressed with the taste or setup. Have eaten many similar places where it was done very out of it. There were not many people, but the servants managed to forget us several times and be directly undiscovered that they had customers. We asked them for example if they could dry the table when we changed to the dessert because one of the servants lost a plate on the table, then there was dressing and rice on parts of the table (with our own remains they had wasted yet) It was very strange that they suddenly had to wipe out as we were not finished with the food. (Read missing the dessert) We could simply not contact a servant when we were to pay, so we went to the desktop. But many authentic dishes, but the method and execution were rings. Their dessert was good coffee was nice but nothing game. The ambiance was really cozy.

I would normally give 4 stars, but unfortunately the waitress yesterday was really unfriendly. we did not feel welcome at all. they also brought all food, so we could observe how eating becomes colder before cutlery and teller 5 minutes later after demand. it was a little weird.
