Stopped in for a quick bite after hiking/waterfalls. Food was good. Our service was above and beyond. Our server was training someone new and doing a fantastic job balancing everything from greeting and seating as new customers walked in the front door, to showing the new hire how to plate desserts. Average place, we were 8 people, no one liked any of the food that came in any plate. The chowder, gravy, and everything else on my biscuits and gravy plate tasted the same. Pretty bland.The only redemption was their special dessert. And the server was trying hard to be funny, which she succeeded at to a very small extent. View all feedback.

A MUST when I'm in town visiting family! Ate there this evening, 4 adults and a baby. The waitress was amazing! She was the only one there with a FULL house (NO empty tables and most of the bar was full too! . We got 3 burgers and a reuben. Everything was prepared as ordered and very tasty (as always . What else can I say? Great food, great service Go to Dad's Copake Diner!
