A one night jaunt from Sydney to Central Coast - COPACABANA. Beautiful spot. However, only one restaurant open on a cold winters night. But what a terrific find. Delicious food, excellent service and well priced. The only down side, and in no way related to the restaurant or staff, was the unpleasant guy with his pop-out eyes staring at a same-sex couple sharing a dessert.... View all feedback.
What Liam Aquilina doesn't like about Copa 2:
I was very displeased with the food at this restaurant. I ordered pancakes for my mother and they were burnt. We asked for toast instead, without butter, but it came with butter anyway. I know mistakes happen, but burnt pancakes are not acceptable to me. I would not recommend this place. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: A$20-40 View all feedback.

Delicious, fresh Italian food right across from the beach. Generous servings. Very reasonable price. BYO. Scrumptious seafood and pasta lightly and beautifully cooked. Tiramisu so delicious and great coffee. Worth the drive to lovely Copacabana.
We visited for the first time two weeks ago and repeated the visit the following week, also a Monday, because there is not much open in this neck of the woods on that night of the week. Having only just opened for dinner on Mondays the restaurant is pretty quiet at the moment BUT I see it gaining in popularity so suggest booking ahead. The tables, all set with neat white linen, are positioned apart in uncrowded fashion and the welcoming waitstaff set the scene for a relaxed evening of traditional country style Italian dishes that reflect fresh seasonal produce. Bread, oil and a salad arrives as a complimentary starter. The antipasti is a real appetiser, the pasta dishes varied and flavoursome, the scalopine tender and the scampi generous. This is tasty traditional fare well prepared. Delicious.Copa 2 is unlicenced and corkage modest. All in all excellent food, service, prices.
I live locally and visit this restaurant often, i have had many different experiences here. some amazing some frustrating and irritating. It is not a cheap restaurant.Once i took my daughter and my three year old granddaughter(. After explaining how good the food was.) My fussy 3yrold granddaughter only likes pasta without sauce, but this was an unholey thing to ask for . I was willing to pay full price, i think about $28 for a bowl of pasta.i even asked for the sauce on the side. the waitress went in and out of the kitchen then returned and said no. so i had to wash the sauce off the pasta in my glass of mineral water so as my granddaughter could eat.I found this embarrassing after i had raved about how good it was, but we were hungry and there is nothing else in Copa at night. On a good note i have eaten here when the flavours have taken me away to a far off place" Pure brilliance". But I have sat and waited for well over an hour for my meal. the waitresses are always excellent. So it is a lucky dip as to wether the chef is in a bad mood or a good mood.I somewhat reluctantly return because when she gets it right, she creates food for the gods.
This place had mixed reviews which I can't believe. The food was delicious the wattress was helpful it is across from the beach what more do you want.
