I went with my wife for New Year’s Eve. At 8 pm we were seated at a large group table on a corner, opposite of another party of two at this table that was meant for 12, very odd, the table next to us had around 14 people so not very quiet. Enjoyed a nice Saturday night dinner. Restaurant was quite busy, but we waited only minutes to get seated. A bit strange, they were out of mashed and baked potatoes for the evening (we were there around 7pm). The cinnamon spiced cranberry jar was an excellent dessert!
Prior to my visit today, I would have given 5 stars. A few months ago they stripped down the menu and literally took away the best food. Nothing on the menu will bring us back here. Nothing to get excited about anymore. Bring back the pretzel at the very least!
The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was very nice. Definitely an upscale site with beautiful views. The service seemed disorganized and chaotic. The bar was very inconsistent with their drinks... Different glasses for the same drink, drinks weren't balanced, lack of garnishes/ingredients, and weak pours. Even their non alcoholic cocktails didn't follow the recipe Overall it was good. But it's not going to stand out if I'm trying to pick a restaurant.
Really enjoyed the dinner we had for our anniversary. The atmosphere was great. You can dress up of dress average. They had dairy free options which was amazing. I really felt that the chef actually cared about making my food correctly and the staff made sure to double check the food to make sure it was made correctly.
My wife and I have been coming here for many years but something has changed and it’s not good. We have noticed that it’s just not as fulfilling as it used to be. The experience we had the other night pretty much just turned us off from coming backing. Everything was a little slow but it was a Friday night. We had a craft cocktail that was flat and a burger that had a cold soggy bun like it had just came out of the freeze and the jam on the burger made it soggier. The service was ok but got annoyed with the friends statement that she kept making. I think this place needs to figure out if they are going to be the hangout after a round of golf or try to continue being higher end chop house restaurant that was established 7 years ago.
