Always reliable, a good local with consistent quality - friendly and professional service.A new menu was good for winter with one of my favourites back, a lamb pie with mash and peas was excellent. The sweet corn chowder looked good but there was more bread than chowder. View all feedback.
What Óscar Ibáñez doesn't like about Pitchfork Restaurant:
We used to go to Pichfork regularly. We tried it again this weekend. Very friendly staff (excluding Owner/Manager). The oysters and mains were pretty good maybe the Chicken Maryland a bit over cooked. We ordered an Australian Vermintino which was a mistake tart...and cloudy. The last glass from the bottle was full of sediment and undrinkable. The owner is possibly new? He had no genuine interest in the wine issue. No... View all feedback.
We enjoyed a delicious meal great ambiance dining at Pitchfork on Xmas Eve. We are long time locals who loved the previous owners menu dining experience so were interested to see how the new owners are faring. We were totally impressed with the...young waitress who was onto everything, very knowledgeable re wine menu. The meals were plentiful, delicious visually suburb. We'll definitely be back !
Pitchfork restaurant was recommended to us by friends, so we ride (in the pouring rain) of noosa to midday wow, which was a great decision. sitting inside and outside is weatherproof. we sat inside, but could have been as happy. the service was excellent and the food was great. and the bill was also very reasonable. we will definitely make the trip again (only 20 minutes from noosa) to lunch, but also to dinner.
The first time in pitchfork, and it was one of the better meals we had in noosa. Unfortunately, we were a bit underwhelmed, but I think we're a little pampered in the inner city of melbourne. I very much hope that hum yung guys will help the...averages at pitchfork we had a doz caffeine jack oyster, freshly shaken at $3 ea were good price and fresh so off at a good start. mains we had risotto and pappardelle ente ragu, both were very pleasant. the personal was friendly and attentive. all in all a good, cheap lunch in beautiful peregian beach
Our last family meal together before one of daughters was heading backing to the UK. Our booking was for 6.15pm we were seated promptly. Our mains arrived at 8.15..... if you think a 2 hour wait is acceptable then this is the restaurant for...you, if not then suggest you eat elsewhere. When politely queried we were told that we shouldn't book between 6 6.30 as that is their busiest time! My observation was the restaurant was about 75% full with alot of people sitting waiting for food. Sadly the experience did not match the price tag which was such a shame. I wish the owner well.
After 12 months isolation we had a reunion meal here with the family (6). Seating outside was ok and we were catered for when a sudden short squal came through. Young staff were good and meal arrived in a reasonable time. It just didn’t feel...as good as last time but maybe it was me after travelling.
