My friend and I love Mexican food. This would have to be the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in Australia. We had the Fajitas and the serving size was massive and we couldn't get through it all. The beef was melt in the mount and so was the chicken. The waitress was also lovely and helpful and very friendly. We also had a jug of frozen margarita and wow that was great as well. My recommendation is that yo... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mexicola Cantina:
I do miss good Mexican but it is so hard to find in Australia. This is a reasonable "cantina" lots of people, boisterous but more Tex Mex than the style of Mexican found overseas. Enjoyable if you are happy with tacos and standard fare. View all feedback.
The food was fresh and tasty although menu had only a few items. Service very slow -orders were mixed up and drink arrived after main course because l had been given the order for another person. Was told when paying they had been training a...staff member who perhaps required more supervision .
Mexicola Cantina is a restaurant with large servings of tasty food at reasonable prices. The restaurant however is let down by terrible service which takes all the gloss away from what should be a great family night. Not a single positive to say about the...service throughout the evening. Unenthusiastic, forgetful, slow, meandering, disinterested and unapologetic. For a place with only having wait for water and then for bottles of Corona after asking twice were two simple examples. The food is the winner however the staff let the place down.
Five of our family visited recently. Food was excellent, large serves, staff friendly and efficient. We visited again two nights later and were again very satisfied. Nachos! wow!
Great little spot, amazing food and great margaritas.... Perfect for either a romantic dinner or a catch up with old friends Highly recommended
This restaurant came highly recommended so we thought we better check it out. We boomed way and arrived at an our table would be ready by We were offered drinks until which worked well as it took us ages to decide what...to order! Within about the place was jam packed with people and the place was buzzing. If your wanting to hold quiet conversations then this is not the place to do so. Its loud with music, people and staff. Our meals arrived pretty quickly. We were all surprised at how small the meals were and the men at the table had to order seconds. These meals dont come with sides just the small tacos etc.we all ended up having churros for dessert. These were beautiful however the sauces were very sweet. Mine an my daughters meal was which equals around I considered this expensive for what you got. Stil a great evening all the same. I would totally recommend booking a table a head of time. Its centrally located so taxis are easy to grab once you finish your meal. And to beat the crowds go early especially if you have kids.
