Still unsure why but this Bakery has changed its' name - now simply called The Bakery. Little has changed and I have given up on the overpriced bread but the tarts and cakes are good. However it really depends on which ones you purchase. Briefly - Custard tarts at $4.00 are very good but also buying the same day an Apple Tart the difference was huge - it looked exciting, nice crusty pastry and that was the problem -... The coffee at this restaurant is fantastic, and their Lamington is particularly delicious.
The staff is friendly and they serve the best coffee in Coolum.

The service was bad no fault of the staff, just not enough of them The pies were average, the bread lasted days before it went rock hard. I will not return, Coles is a better option. Maybe I picked a wrong day, but...first impressions stick. Sorry.....
Typical bakery but the food is really good. Their pies are the thing we keep coming back for. Enjoy a sit by the corner, although you are right beside traffic. Staff are good and the prices are the same as your average bakery.
