The wings are the best in town. For what you pay for an order of wings, they give you pretty good sized wings. It is a Tex-Mex restaurant so the food is not authentic but it definitely taste pretty amazing. The employees are super-friendly and willing to talk with you about the city as well as the food. What Chase Womble doesn't like about San Antonio Taco Company:
Been going to Satco for years. For some reason lunch is significantly better then dinner and much more affordable. The biggest issue for me is the loudness of the music and the playlist choice. Many times it will be screaming in your ears or on some 80srock that drives you insane. Would be better if it was quieter where you can enjoy your food without feeling you?re in aconcert.. The best tacos around. The tortillas are fresh and delicious. I had the $4.99 lunch special with two fajitas, chips& salsa with a drink. The staff at the counter and the staff preparing the meal were polite. The atmosphere is laid back, they have multiple TV's and sell beer by the bucket for a very reasonable price. I can't wait to go back again.
The food is a tad pricey for the quantity I feel like. $2.50 for street tacos plus extra for toppings. 2 tacos and 5 wins will run you $15. The food quality is good though, and made fresh when you order. Overall not a bad experience.
I'll admit ordering was a bit complicated but we figure it out, had 4 tacos with chips and a drink for less than $10 (lunch special) the patio was awesome. The staff helpful and alert. Salsa was a bit hot for me, but hubby said it wasn't hot at all. Food was great, fish taco was good, guacamole taco was yummy. We will be back!
Fast service, great for take out or eating in. Food can be delivered via a local delivery service. The queso is amazing. Lettuce and cheese are included on things like tacos but 'extras ' like sour cream are $0.30 extra each. Also has really good wings and local desserts.
