Delicious food and the coffee is lovely. Coogee Café is a pleasant stop for a coffee, breakfast or lunch, with a good range of choices. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is great and it is located near the beach, what else do you need? Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Coogee Cafe:
This is a cute little cafe. I have been coming here on and off for over 10 years. I used to love love love this place but the last few years quality has slightly dropped. Came back recently and the food was okay. I was not blown away but you also can't call it bad. A stage describes it pretty accurately. Haloumi stack is still my favourite but the asparagus scramble is also nice. View all feedback.
Came to lunch here and there was no only vegan option on the menu. asked to replace the touch with avocado in salat. extra costs $2 instead of $4.5 if you order avocado as a supplement. avocado is quite expensive at the moment. the dressing was with honey and could not be replaced by a vegan option after the waitress. the pan-fried mushrooms I ordered as a supplement, where dry and expensive with another $4.5 extra. does not come here.
My partner and I have been in coogee cafe for years, so we have seen them through the times when we create our own adaptable vegan items by adding and substituting food. the previous review is however outdated! spices, spices, spices, spices, spices, spices, spices, spices, spices, spices, spices in general, the management is amazingly responsive to feedback for vegan options. I would recommend it as a vegan-friendly place to eat.
I visited this lovely cafe for a relaxing afternoon break. Although it was quite crowded, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were seated promptly and served table water. We ordered an Iced Coffee and a Latte, both made with Toby’s Estate coffee which was delicious and pleasing to the taste buds.
I stopped by this restaurant for a coffee (or 4) and had to leave a review because the staff were incredibly friendly! They were quick and prepared my coffees in a to-go tray (including chai, espressos, and a cappuccino), as well as an APA bar apricot, gogi, and almond bar that was gluten-free. While I was there, a woman pulled up in her car outside, and it was clear that they knew her as she received coffee-to-car service, which was awesome! It looks like there are a lot of delicious food options, so I will definitely have to come back sometime!
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and it was reasonably priced at $40 for two people for breakfast and coffee. The avocado toast was delicious, especially with the added poached egg. The granola and yogurt was amazing, and we also enjoyed the sourdough toast. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Overall, we had a positive dining experience.
