They forgot the hush puppies I ordered, and when I asked... read more I’m visiting from out of town and really wish I had chosen a different Captain D’s instead of this one! They forgot the hush puppies I ordered, and when I asked for my coleslaw to be served in a bowl to keep my fish from getting soggy, that didn’t happen either. I called the manager and was put on hold for a long time, so I decided to just eat since I was very hungry. As I started eating my coleslaw, I discovered a piece of plastic in it! At this point, I no longer want this food!

This meal cost $12.... read more I ordered the catfish meal with a baked potato and coleslaw around 4 PM on August 5, 2021. I specified that I wanted no bacon, just cheese. This meal cost $12. When I received my food, I discovered an old, dried-out potato topped with bacon (but no cheese) that looked like it had been sitting around for weeks and was just reheated. The inside of the potato was turning a yellowish-brown color and it tasted stale. There were no condiments in the bag, such as butter or sour cream for the potato, although nothing could have salvaged it anyway. The two small pieces of catfish I received were overcooked and greasy, to the point where they could have damaged my teeth! Additionally, I had ordered a cheesecake, but it was missing from my order. I was shocked that any restaurant would serve such poor quality food and not anticipate complaints!

I ordered Southern Style Whitefish, Broccoli, and Baked Potato. The fish is a big piece; but the sides are small portions. If you?re aperson with a big appetite, this is not going to fill you up. If you eat this for dinner you?ll need a snack later. But, thefood, and customer service is good.

I came again, food was great, customer service great! So from then on, I expect that same food and serviceon each visit. But the last 2 times I've been there the food was horrible. This time I took pictures! My spicy fish was good,but they had no batter crumbs in the box and I got double fries and some of them were like lukewarm rubber bands and the otherswere rock hard. I ordered my husband a 3 piece fish with a baked potato and green beans. His potatoes was a tan color and reallygummy. That's a premium side, so it costs more! Also, how can you wait in line so long for food thats not fresh? Whats the pointof waiting if the food isnt going to be worth the wait? Anyhow, we don't have a lot of good food places in Conyers. So pleasetake a little more pride in the food the you serve.
