During my stay in Llandudno, I decided to try out this restaurant. With the rugby match on and the food at our hotel not being the best, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I must say, I was not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much, Maria. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Yiamas Taverna:
Service was ok. No real atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was poor. We got the meat feast between two people. It consisted of meatballs , which seemed to be mainly bread with mince and bland tasting. What looked like pulled pork, which was quite fatty...and two very small chicken fillets. There was also dips, a small Greek salad and a plate of chips. All in all not a good meal. Wont be going back. View all feedback.

The restaurant had a cozy Greek taverna vibe, even though it was raining outside. The authentic dishes were delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was not very crowded, likely due to the weather, but we still had a great experience. The baklava was the best we've ever had. We definitely recommend Yiamas.
I had an authentic Greek meal at this restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. I would definitely return!
We had a simple DELICIOUS court last at yiamas. that was our 2nd visit here and it was not disappointed! we had to start the tzatziki, humous and beetroot dives with pitta and Greek salat. only gorgeous and honest, the best tzatziki we've ever eaten...(including in Greece itself! our main course was also beautiful. my chap loves his kleftiko and it was divine! this family-run restaurant feels simple in layout but also intimate! I only needed the sound of the waves that are lying on the oath and we could have been back in kefalonia! we love it here. for us it is about eating and there is no air and grace. simply delicious eating with an in-house feeling! try it. a taste of Greek in llandudno!
Really terrible meal.... visited for a meal to round off a lovely day...They didn't know what Tahini was ???? Gave us tzatziki which was tasteless .... the stuffed vine leaves were out of a tin We ordered greek mixed grill for 2 ...the only decent...thing on the plate was one bite size lamb chop ...the rest of the meat was frozen..a sliver of chicken breast ... a piece of pork steak and a grill steak..yep a processed grill steak ... frozen chips ....it was HORRENDOUS...we complained ... we were told we could visit the kitchen and see it wasnt frozen...and then they had the ordasity to charge us 54 quid.....Trading Standards should be contacted for false advertising...never a Greek restaurant in the memory of man??? The owner alleged he was from Greece ...but didnt know what Tahini was ...flipping joke ....
