Had my first taste of a Staffordshire Oatcake this weekend, made by such a wonderful friendly lady. It tasted so fresh and tasty, I had to go back the following day for another one! Hubby and I are originallly from Stoke-on-Trent (now live in Gwynedd) and love our native North Staffordshire oatcakes. Today (Thursday) we were looking forward to having our breakfast here but unfortunately it was closed. We went back again for lunch but it was still closed?
