Supported a young man to have a game of pool.barmaid suddenly came over and told us off very loudly for not buying a drink before playing pool. We'd only been there for 1/2 hour and the young man hadn't been ready to order a drink yet. Absolutely humiliated and disgusted.
It was ok and it was open....so that 's a plus. TV 's were on far too loud , especially as there were only three customers in at the time and it was only late afternoon. The place does have a bit of a 'sticky ' feel to it ,the table was grubby and stained and the loos weren 't great....but it was ok for a quick drink.
The premises are clean and tidy with a pool table he bar is average although the barstaff are friendly and proffessional....................
I haven't visited this restaurant in a long time, and while it appears decent on the surface, it could use a complete overhaul. The beer was good, but like most places, it was overpriced. We do live in a holiday resort, so it's expected for the locals to pay holiday prices too. The toilets are in dire need of renovation and it looks like someone may have started the process but never finished it.
This establishment is a bar with pool tables. We arrived early and found it to be quiet. The service was quick and courteous.
