Feedback
The Cliffs restaurant offers stunning views and a lovely atmosphere, but recent reviews have highlighted some disappointing aspects. Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the food quality, overpricing, lack of attention from staff, and management issues. However, positive reviews praise the friendly service, good value, and well-prepared meals. With a varied menu and beautiful decor, The Cliffs Restaurant is a pleasant dining destination with potential for improvement. Whether seeking a special treat or a casual meal, visitors can enjoy a nice setting and a decent meal at this charming location perched on a lovely caravan park.
Really lovely place, staff were really nice, I love a roast dinner and it was one of the best and loads of it, my partner had pasta and said it was delicious, we will definitely return.
As we approached the establishment, I was apprehensive about what I might find within, however, much to my delight, I was astonished to find a classy restaurant inside which gave off such a welcoming aroma and vibe, this put me at ease instantaneously. We were greeted by a friendly, smartly dressed host who sat us quickly, to my great shame I was not able to catch the name of our host, so I am not able to give him full credit. The tables were all neatly laid and from the windows you could see great views for miles. The menu was stacked full of intriguing foods which caught the eye, however, I eventually settled on the chicken burger, our waiter was most understanding in me asking to remove the cucumber pickles from the burger and our order was taken very quickly. The food arrived in very good time; the chicken burger was definitely a top 5 burgers of all time in my books so needless to say I was very pleased. Having discussed my friend's food with them at length as well I can confirm we all were caught off-guard by the continuous quality of the dishes served. Throughout this whole experience the staff remained friendly and catered to all our needs, which I was and am most appreciative of. i will actively look at recommending this classy institution to friends and family alike as it would be selfish to keep a gem like this to myself. Many thanks, Olly and the rest of TATS
I can sum up this place in one word: spectacular. Spectacular food. Spectacular service. Spectacular scenery and spectacular views. I had a delightful and delicious, lamb tagine. Followed by a chocolate truffle mousse and ice cream. Ellie served me and my wife, in an extremely friendly and efficient way. Our wonderful experience was topped off by the wonderful views of the surrounding area. I couldn't recommend the establishment, more.
I am very difficult to please when it comes to food, I also like to think I am a decent cook. However the Sunday Lunch at the cliffs is absolutely lovely. A great place, lovely staff, always a warm welcome. We have never been disappointed. Myself and the children always look forward to eating here. Also the views whilst you eat are beautiful. A panoramic view of the clwydian valley. You can’t beat it. A favourite place.!!
Went after receiving a flyer offering discounts. Discounts didn't apply on the Sunday I visited. Lamb and Beef had run out. That said the food we had was really good, and the service excellent.
