We like this caffi a lot, and the soup and brown bread was delicious. We normally have one of the speciality teas Turkish apple or Blood orange. Lovely. And the toasted teacakes and Bara Brith are nice too. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. It's not open on market days and parking in the square can be a problem.
Called here today prior to Conwy County Urdd Eisteddfod at Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy. Bustling little cafe with excellent friendly service and good quality food and coffee. Both excellent quality and large portions. One of us(child) had a small breakfast and I had the vegetarian breakfast neither of us finished the food because the portion was large. Lovely cafe and staff. Thank you
My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast this morning and it was great. Everything was cooked to perfection. We had the vegetarian breakfast and regular breakfast and we couldn't fault either. Friendly staff and a lovely cosy atmosphere.
The food at the restaurant looked appetizing at first, but halfway through our meal, my girlfriend discovered that her chips had been cooked with flies. There were dead fried flies on her chips, indicating a lack of cleanliness in the kitchen. When we complained, we were told it was just pepper, despite clearly seeing the wings and legs of the flies. The staff took the chips away but then also took all of our food when we refused to pay for them, not allowing us to take any pictures before they removed it. We left the restaurant without finishing our meal. This incident occurred on Sunday, September 18th, 2022.
What a wonderful find. A real old fashioned cafe with great coffee and wonderful food all at very reasonable prices. The service os excellent as well. Can thoroughly recommend.
