Sonic is one of my favorite places to go to eat. I don't get to go very often. The people who work there are pretty nice. The food was ok on this visit. It could have been better. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sonic Drive-in:
I have visited this restaurant twice in the past 2 weeks on my way home from work. The first time, I ordered a foot-long hot dog and fries. The hot dog tasted overcooked and resembled a slim jim. It seemed like it had been sitting out all day. Tonight, I ordered a regular hot dog and fries, and unfortunately, the hot dog was just as bad. It was so difficult to eat that I ended up giving it to my dog instead. View all feedback.
This was earlier my favorite Sonic in the city, but it is really downhill last year. I'm sure it's hard to keep enough employees now at covid, so it's understandable. lately, eating was quite bad as it sits under a heat lamp for hours. the employees are constantly rushing to do everything (then understandable again because I am sure they are understated

New people and great experience. Even with the lunch rush I wasn't rushed and they got my order out quickly.
Always get the wrong order. Today I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and they brought me sausage egg and cheese. Had to wait even longer and risk being late to work because of their screw up. Done going to this one. One other time I ordered a chili cheese coney and got one that was a slider and like 3 inches long but they charged me for the 6 inch one. Over it.
This establishment is not professional in my opinion. The employees are thrown into situations not knowing what to do. I know someone who was on for a week was beyond excited to work his first real job. They threw a minor (with no sort of experience) on the grill without proper training or through explanation. On top of that, he was sick finished his shift, called in the next day they told him he would be fired without a doctors note… it’s a saturday… he’s a minor his guardians are out of town. how was he supposed to get a doctors note? although I completely understand policies protocols but I have to say this might be the most ridiculous thing i’ve ever heard.
