The service started off poorly as we were rudely told at the bar that they don't serve martinis with olives. I ordered the seafood sampler, but was disappointed to find that the fish was raw in the middle and the shrimp were undercooked. After a second attempt, the seafood was still not cooked properly. The coleslaw that came with our meals was also inedible. I am not a picky eater when it comes to seafood, but I was unimpressed with the quality at this restaurant compared to what I am used to on the coast of North Carolina. Overall, I would not recommend eating at Bonfire for seafood.

We tried the catfish and authe... read more I liked how many options they had. It's rather refreshing, especially when everything else in the area seems to focus on seafood. We tried the catfish and authentico tacos. Both were really good. The authentico taco fell apart immediately and there was no saving it, but it was delicious. We also tried the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. Very good. The fried chicken sandwich was massive. The Mac and cheese could be a meal by itself. And the pork chili rellenos was really good. The side of street corn was also good, but quite salty. I wish it had not. been so hot or I would have enjoyed lunch outside.

The catfish was fried to perfection and went perfectly with the lemon aioli. The street corn taco was also amazing. The chicken wassmoked to perfection and all the ingredients complemented each other. The onions rings were better than most places I?ve eatenat. Super crispy and delicious with a giant slice of onion. And the mac and cheese?.. fugetaboutit?. Delicious. All the wayaround delicious. Service was great. The art was cool to look at as well. Will be going back and recommending to friends!

We stopped at Bonfire after dropping our freshman son off at CCU. As the very first place we went as empty nesters we could not be happier. Our server Tony was fantastic. The food was the best we 've had in the area. The outsideseating was beautiful. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! This is a must stop for high quality food and service. THANK YOU SO MUCH TONY!!
