Variety on the whole menu, a good atmosphere recommending very exquisite cheese cakes, otherwise well.
Good food. The inner dining room is in a cave and it is cold. in the menu only enters the water to drink. I find it poor that they do not put a sad table wine with a menu of 16€. Just a mere bottle of water for three. For more, the friendly and professional waiter. I wouldn't come back for that detail.
I was impressed by both the service and the quality of food. The waiter was gentle, served fast, was patient and very polite in answering and describing some unknown dishes, allow to try the wine before ordering (not customary in Spain). And the food was very well cooked, delicious and respectful with local traditions. The only but is that this is not a fancy place, rather looks like a tavern, still a nice one.
We arrived at this restaurant as a party of 7 and asked for a table, we were told by the young waiter to come back at 9 pm. We went for a stroll through the town centre and upon returning to La Bodeguita we found it was closed. The staff were inside so we knocked on the door. The young waiter who spoke to us previously looked through the curtain at us then proceeded with what he was doing. We again knocked on the door and asked the young man to come and speak to us. He cracked the door open a few inches and told us that the chef had decided not to cook for us and there was nothing he could do. We were left standing in the street in the cold with no dinner and absolutely disgusted by the way we were treated. I cannot stress strongly enough the disgust we have at the treatment we received and the manner in which it was given. The young man was extremely rude to our party. Disgraceful treatment.
