Luigi's Italian - Feedback

What User likes about Luigi's Italian:
My wife and I only tried Luigi's the other day by chance and expected nothing spectacular, we were very surprised by the very friendly and attentive service and completely blown away by the food. I had the Stromboli and my wife had the sausage calzone, the portions were huge, the food perfectly cooked, and the taste exquisite. I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu. My fiancée and I really want to like this place. We gave him several attempts and decided not to come back. The service is always good, but the quality of food is seriously lacking. The bread is hard, pasta dishes dirty and cold. The chicken in the pasta is only hard, thin rectangles without taste. The pasta dishes are flooded with sauce and generally underwhelming.
