A break during the visit to Conques, a magnificent village on the Way of St. James. Lunch at the Auberge Saint-Jacques, where I savored aligot and sausage: a real treat, with a particularly excellent sausage.
Very friendly staff. It's a shame the room we stayed in was a bit dark, but it was clean. The food is very good. I recommend it.
A room a bit cramped, which is a shame. It lacks a bit of lighting and outlets. Otherwise, it was a privilege to have been able to sleep in this hostel, its location is ideal next to the church. A very, very generous breakfast, we couldn't finish! We decided to go back at lunchtime to eat a bite before our shuttle departure, while explaining to them that we had little time, and frankly, they were very responsive. Thank you very much.
We had booked a table at the restaurant with a view of the abbey church . Superb welcome, really warm, from the father and son!
Customers seem like a chore, no matter where you’re from or what language you speak. We got the wrong food but they lied and tried to convince we were wrong. The sighing and groaning and grumbling was so ridiculous! Don’t want to work with visitors? Don’t work at a cafe in a town that attracts visitors. The food that was correct, it was good. Service: Dine in
