Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Conover

This restaurant was perfect for our football team lunch. They accommodated our large group wonderfully, and the food and service were fantastic and incredibly quick! We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely return when we're in town again.

The cheesesteak was tasty, but the fries were overcooked, and the custard had a gritty texture!

I placed an order for delivery, which said it would take 30-45 minutes but ended up taking an hour. Since I won't be at work during that time, I couldn't get a refund. I won't be ordering from here again and feel like I’ve lost my money. It's really frustrating, especially since I've only tried their food once and it was amazing. However, losing $15 isn't worth it. I won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone. It's really disappointing.

To eat one of my favorite places! they have good burgers, but my favorite is something called moose. it is a chicken philly with speck. you can't go wrong with the tattoos. ask for shelly she is very friendly and attentive. in any case they give this place an attempt if they like good eating and enjoy old school diner vibes.

Great food and friendly folks that actually hold the door open and greet you as you enter. Cool old school burger joint/diner/drive-in vibe. I would definitely stop there again. Slightly hidden but not too far off the highway.
