I visited this place for 26 years at my lunch break, know Wendy and her staff well. You will not find a place with a more cozy atmosphere, or better lunch food or with people who are more friendly and eager to make sure you enjoy your meal. Please try it yourself.

I fell in love with her Italian sub. Every time I'm in town, I'll eat there. The staff is really friendly and the service is fast. Try them not to regret it.

5 stars safe!! Yeah, you'll be waiting at peak times, but it's worth it. This place is well managed and let me say that these ladies work nonstop to do these jobs. So much to choose, and everything I ordered was amazing. If you're in a hurry and want to fix the food, go somewhere else. If you want high quality food, come from Chubbys. You will not be disappointed if you are in a hurry. I review many restaurants and this is 5 stars. I strongly recommend this place. Good work Chubby's Conover. We will definitely come back.

It is really a hidden gym that we are blessed to have this lil local place.

It's a bit of a drive for us just to have lunch it was worth it!!!! I had the white chicken chilli and a salad. Chilli was just hot enough a tiny bit spicey but absolutely delicious I wish she had bigger bowls. My wife had an ultimate veggie sub and though I think of every meal being a chance to eat meat the sub was great also. You can't go wrong eating there. Only open till 2:30 though. Go for lunch other great items on the menu too.
