What User likes about Le Restaurant du Port:
We were directed here by the lady selling tickets at the nearby Hautecombe Abbey - what a find! The food is really excellent, with an extensive menu of local specialities, especially those involving freshwater fish (try the Quenelles de Brochet, with sauce Nantua, and the fromage frais à la crême for dessert), and local wines to match. fast service not the time to drink the apero, that the entrance arrives, the servers are nice, the kitchen, the nets of perches not to the top especially when used to eat them on the edge of Lake Geneva, the rather basic qunelle, the desserts top. but above all the veranda is filled with spiders, the household leaves to desired, damage the frame is pretty, but really spiders are too, first visit to this establishment...
