I don't know if we hadn't discovered this place how would we have managed. It's like oasis in the dessert. Freshly prepared food. Produce's quality is extremely good. Beer is local but little on a higher side. Food is little on expensive side but you dnt mind because totally killing vibe and quite decent crowd. But the most breathtaking part is it's location. Rather eclectic menu, range of Italian pastas to pizza to Mediterranean and Indian fusion Hummus n Naan (which was good btw), to traditional Indian offering. Staff were helpful and friendly, perfectly situated across the western temples. Believe this area was gifted to the owner's ancestors by the kings several hundred years ago... Definitely try it out.
The place is very famous and it was extremely rushy when I visited it. The food was good, special appreciation to the cold coffee with icecream. The kathi roll was not as good as I expected it to be. The burgers were just fine. The interiors were beautiful and the ambience aswell. Must visit when in Khajuraho.Thank you!
Favourite place in all of Khajuraho! My family and I have been visiting Raja cafe for the last 5 years and we've tried almost everything on the menu. The owner, Robert, and the staff have the best travel suggestions and anecdotes for Madhya Pradesh! Kamtu bhaiya, the chef, in the picture below worked in Germany before moving back home in Khajuraho and makes delicious Continental and Indian Food. Ask him for the most recommended dishes of the day! The Chicken Barbeque Salad, Fish Fry, Pepper Steak, and Malai Tikka are a must have!
The restaurant has a great location right opposite the Western group of temples. It has plenty of seating too in the courtyard and the terrace. It has a wide menu.it was so nice to sit outside , they had heaters put up , and was so close to the Western temple complex so was a delight be there during the day evening.
