Dakshin - Conjeeveram

We went there for a la carte lunch. Though buffet was available for 650 plus taxes, we were tired and opted for menu order. We ate bisebele bath, curd rice, baby corn manchuria and drank lassi. Everything from ambience, taste, service was good. Just felt that the space was congested and the seating was definitely a big drawback. Otherwise, i highly recommend it to anyone who want to dine at kanchipuram.

I strongly recommend this place for any meal. While majority opt for buffet lunch during lunch time, I would suggest and recommend for some local cuisine like Kanchipuram Idly. The pumpkin halwa is worth its name. The staff is very helpful and guides you through the meal as to in what combination food should be taken.

Ambience is nice, food is OK but expensive for city like Kanchipuram. Overall if you need a quiet place to spend time with family , you can choose this.

We were searching for a decent place to eat on our day trip to Kanchipuram, this one stood out from the ambiance point of view. After having food I can vouch that the food taste is also v good. Staff is polite and service was v good.

Dakshin a well maintained place with serene ambience and gives you the taste of home at affordable rates. Managers are well educated and good at handling customers with good etiquettes and they act in a very professional way. One Mr.Murugan reserves the table by call and shows his respect and treats with proper decorum , also gets the food in our desired configuration by request. Food gets delivered in shorter time if requested . Buffet menu for the lunch holds great set of dishes with wide spread options. Must go place and recommended when we visit Kanchipuram. Food quality and cleanliness are maintained perfectly. All the staffs are good at their decorum and service. On the whole can be rated 5/5.
