Had a wonderful meal 1st Feb with hubby and cousin, hubby raved over the fillet steak, the burgers were lovely, great food, great staff, we had a new member of... read more Had a wonderful meal 1st Feb with hubby and cousin, hubby raved over the fillet steak, the burgers were lovely, great food, great staff, we had a new member of staff who was being shadowed, she did amazing as did the usual staff..we didn’t feel rushed or pressured to leave the table (as we had on a previous visit last year) which was great as we had a lot of catching up/nattering to do .. thank you for great food, great staff and good evening, see you soon .Karen

We got there and were greeted by staff and were shown to our table, not long after a lovely waitress named Josie came to take our drinks order, then after the drinks arrived came back to ask if ready to order. I had a bacon cheese burger which was very good and my friend had gammon egg and chips which she enjoyed. The service, food and drink was spot on. Lovely atmosphere and friendly. Need to go back to try their signature pie. We didn't have dessert as we were full but the waitress who knew my friend from another job brought her a lovely plate with just a small bit of ice-cream and other bites, and it said Happy birthday on it. What a lovely gesture.
