The food was... read more The place gave me a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of 80s diners. It was cozy, the tables wobbled a bit, and the color scheme had an old-school charm. The food was excellent, offering breakfast and lunch at any hour. The banana walnut pancakes were outstanding. I enjoyed a Cobb salad at 10 a.m., and I almost licked the plate clean!

Although the space was small and a bit cramped, it had a nice vibe. There were many children present who seemed to enjoy themselves. The food wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was decent enough.

It 's within walking distance of my house and it 's my go to place to eat because it 's so close. I think I 'm there at least once a week. However, with that said the food is really good to. As is the staff. I think they make the food taste better simply because they make you feel so comfortable there. I 've made it the place where they know my name lol. The food tastes more homemade than other diners and they have a better variety in my opinion. So if you 're looking for a nice small town diner with good eats and good people, Congers diner is where you should go and try it out for yourself.
