Little Rey is the best of all time every single time. The chips! The salsa! The queso! The wings! The carne asada taco! The shrimp taco! The best! Those are all of my favorite things on the menu but everything is super delish. Great staff, great margaritas. Nothing about this place is good, everything is GREAT. View all feedback.
What Miranda G doesn't like about Pollo ' 'al Carbon ' ' Little:
We wanted to try Little Rey because the pics made the food look amazing. We ordered a bunch of different types of tacos so we could really get a good feel for what was on offer. Everything we ordered was on corn tortillas, which all fell apart as we ate them. That, and the average flavors, didn't make for a good meal... The plantains we had for dessert we're good though! But, despite my wishes, dessert doesn't make a... View all feedback.
It's been over three years since my last review so why not update it. Yeah Came to Little Rey for breakfast with some friends. It wasn't too busy but we waited about 8 minutes to order. If you've never been, you order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. The decorations inside make you feel like it in some whimsical garden. I ordered the Breakfast Chalupa and the hot cakes (pancakes). I ordered the iced coffee with horchata as well and it was probably the best iced coffee I've ever had. When the chalupa came, it wasn't what I expected. I expected a more robust taco shell but instead it came on a tostada. It was still delicious but I was definitely expecting a soft shell. The hot cakes were delicious. The syrup was very sweet but good. I would definitely come back. It's a cute little place.

Loved the ambiance and little details! The plants hanging from the ceiling is everything for me. They restaurant is kept super clean even though it is a self serve place. Ample of seating inside and out. There is limited parking so you might have to park in the plaza next to it. The portion size is small but the food is flavorful. There are more canned and prepackaged beverages on the menu compared to draft beer/cocktails. Limited options for vegetarians/vegans but wasn't disappointed. The queso is amazing too. Great for groups or eating alone. They have a great brunch menu for the weekends.
Tacos are good! Margaritas are good. Everything resonantly priced and I liked the casual-ness of the place. I feel like it was a little tooo casual. You can sit anywhere so if it's crowded it's difficult to find someone to sit. Also you have to pay and then they bring the food out to you. I kind of like a waitress because I had to keep going up and waiting In line to get another drink. However it's still a good place and I will be back!
Went her for brunch and I guess I expected it to be more expensive than it was which was a pleasant surprise. I got a chalupa, and pancakes (off the breakfast menu). Chalupa is small ish but perfect amount along with chips and the pancakes, which I recommend sharing with one person. Syrup for the pancakes tasted brown sugary it was very good. All the sauces/salsas were SO good and fresh (especially the jalepeno) and they were all free/unlimited. Used them with both the chalupa and the chips.
