Yasin's is a great place to stop at if you want some good fresh food.I've always ordered the fish tacos trying the wings tonight but I haven't been disappointed so far. View all feedback.
What Shirley Joann doesn't like about Jasim's Homestyle Seafood:
The food was not good at all. The fish was under seasoned and the shrimp looked and tasted like they came from a box. We ordered two kids chicken strip meals and was given fish instead. Kids would not eat it. The hushpuppies were horrible and crumbled like old bread. Would not recommend. View all feedback.
I've been equated with Yasim's here for years as a former gulf coast Houstion. What I admire is the authentic fresh Southern homestyle taste and quality. What I also admire is Thier marketing gienues. This Padimic has caused many fast food to reasses how to navigate the new and maybe indefinite norm, They have paid attention. They already had a neighrhood fan base, but now because of necessity Introduce DoorDash...Welcome larger audiences. How they say hello to a broader market? Level up! All of a sudden thier delicious food became even better with a consistent standard, even larger jumbo shrimp (keep that supplier) and cooks that pay attention to what works. Even front staff are better. Kudos my Brother. Please don't ever franchise (quality will decline) we will remember you forever unlike This is Who? Moved to Atlanta near their first location on Campbellton Rd. Food was great, then they expanded, quality was cut in half. Yuk. Sorry brothers just telling the truth. That's for brothers that can't cook and don't have a woman that can.
The fish at this location is really good. I've been here twice and I ordered the Catfish Dinner. And the fish has been fried very well. When I'm on the West Side this is my go to place for fish.
As good as I remembered. Well worth the wait! Tried to get in here two days ago....but was way too crowded! So glad I tried (the wait) again! Got my Yasin's fish fix. Ordered two 3pc whitings (only one was a meal) all sides: [Fried okra, coleslaw, baked beans and green beans] serving sizes were great, tasty and plentiful. The beans were so-so, but hot. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Parking was pretty good and the food wasn't bad either. It was clearly a local establishment and seemed to be pretty popular. The prices weren't bad but the food was, for me, ok. Staff was nice.
Food is sooo good and worth EVERY penny! Also has a drive thru but can get a bit backed up because everything is fresh to order. Best seasoned fried catfish I 've had since being in ATL and I 've been to all of the favorites
