Chicken And Beer

Was a little crowded, but they have good service and polite.

My favorite airport bar in the Continental US in over two decades of flying. Great local beer selection. Good southern food. Prices reasonable for an airport.

It was ok. Expensive being in an airport terminal as expected. I thought the chicken batter was a little too hard on the fried chicken, but the spices and flavor were good. The waffles were pretty yummy. Service was really good which made the experience nice.

From the moment I was greeted at the front by Manager David. He changed my energy from tired to energized and happy. He said hey how are you ? I said I’m ok he said well let see if we can change that to great!! Tone set experience followed just as he promised. I had the dark meat chicken would have provided pics but I devoured it lol my server DJ recommended a craft local beer which I loved. Honestly I was there to grab a bite to eat and left with an experience I have never had in an airport restaurant or any other restaurant. To see the constant movement by the staff they appeared to move as synchronized swimmers all in harmony. It was beautiful to see they were all pleasant I even saw David high five a guest who had left before me the staff were playful but focused the food came out fast hot and fresh. I will make it a point to tell as many people about my experience. Who would have thought that my visit just to have chicken would be so inspiring. Thank you Chicken n Beer y’all made my trip ending a wonderful experience I just could not just eat witness and leave.

I feel bad for any terminal that doesn't have a Lance (our host) and a Chicken Beer! Tastes like a home cooked meal made with love and the staff are incredibly kind! I hope I find myself back in this part of the airport someday soon!
