At noon it is the typical truck driver restaurant: a first course-second course-water/wine-side plate-coffee lunch for 11 euros. Informal atmosphere, generous/abundant portions, good kitchen. Excellent for the lunch break, especially as a stop on the road. Adjacent and shaded parking spaces.
Gelato is a constant treat in Milan any time of day) We tried the tiramisu gelato at Granaio and absolutely loved it. The flavour was rich, creamy, and very well balanced. This gelateria is a short walk from Duomo di Milano, making it a convenient stop while exploring the area. Pricing is in line with gelato shops across the city: Small scoop: €5 Medium scoop: €6 Large: €7 One thing to note: seating inside the café appears to be regulated. We weren’t welcomed to sit inside after purchasing our gelato, so it’s best to check with the staff before using indoor seating. When we visited in the night around 8 PM there was no outdoor seating. Overall, great gelato and a convenient location near the Duomo.
