Common Grounds Coffeehouse - Concordia

My boyfriend introduced me to this place, and ever since, it has become my favorite coffee stop whenever I visit him in Concordia. What I love most is the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Shad and Amber have cultivated. On my first day meeting Shad, he shared with me the mission and inspiring stories behind the coffeehouse, as well as the hard work that's put into the Teens for Christ ministry. This is not your typical coffee shop; it genuinely aims to create a lively space for fellowship and learning while rejuvenating our hearts for God's purpose. If you find yourself in town, I highly recommend stopping by—the owners will make you feel right at home, and you definitely won't regret trying their hot chocolate!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and felt truly welcomed. My caramel macchiato was made perfectly—not too sweet, just the right balance. As someone with diabetes, I appreciate that! I couldn't resist trying the turnover; it looked and smelled incredible. I will definitely return to try something else!

This charming little coffee shop is located in a beautiful house. The coffee was delightful, offering a superb flavor that stands in sharp contrast to what most chain coffee shops serve. I’ll definitely stop by for a coffee again when I’m in the area.

They genuinely care for their customers and the whole experience while you are there. We had my daughter's college graduationcelebration there and it was such beautiful experience. Shad and Amber went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had alovely time. Concordia has been blessed with a gem!

This charming old house is being transformed, room by room, into a delightful community gathering place that attracts people of all ages. My teens and I played a game while others were socializing in an adjacent room. The atmosphere feels so warm and welcoming. Take some time to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea!
