Food was great, I bet they were understaffed and looking to hire but took 30 mins from the time of my order to get food. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Other than waiting, which is fine, we very much loved the food! View all feedback.
What Jesse Pierce doesn't like about The Gateway To Athens:
Food mainly taste likes prefrozen or premade food being remade and plated. Ordered a combo appetizer, came with nice items, but the cost was not worth the quantity or quality, all frozen food being dropped in a fryer. Humus tasted premade or made poorly. The food was amazing. I love the Baklava cake, it is like an exotic carrot cake and yummy! We took my entire family fir my daughter’s 40th birthday at her request. We will return! Vegetarian options: Spanakopita (spinach pie) greek salad. Eggplant mousaka. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and dairy free.
Another wonderful visit at Gateway to Athens! Delicious food that never disappoints, professional and friendly service , atmosphere and music that makes you feel like you are in Greece! We now live in South Charlotte , always worth the trip to Concord, especially today as I got to see Rika and her beautiful grand daughter! Realized I've been eating here since 2006!
Delicious authentic gyros! Best I’ve ever had! The owner is very kind.
