I opted for the camarones diablo, which... read more My sister ordered the special plate, which came with a variety of dishes—she ended up taking more than half of it home. I opted for the camarones diablo, which is aptly named “devilishly hot shrimp.” It was definitely spicy, but absolutely delicious. We also ordered a side of guacamole, which was freshly made and fantastic. The refried beans tasted homemade, as some whole beans were still intact. I’ve tried making my own and can never achieve the smoothness that many Mexican restaurants do. I also ordered one tamale, which was excellent. My sister’s chile relleno was much better than any we've had elsewhere, although I’m still not a huge fan of that dish. In short (though I realize it’s a bit late for that), I really love this place. Everything was freshly prepared while we waited, and the medium margarita was enormous. We will definitely return to try more dishes. The prices were excellent, and the portions were generous!

Amazing food, awesome staff, they have some guy come in to play live music (Music Rick? and it’s enjoyable. Their salsa is really good and the portions are much larger then what I’ve come to expect from other local restaurants. We found our new go to.
