Koon Thai Kitchen - Concord

The delicious food at this Thai restaurant in Concord is a must-try, especially the Mango Shrimp Curry. While the service could use some improvement, the overall experience is delightful.

First time, Great Food I like it, need more than one server feel sorry for the guy serving all tables by himself, he was great and friendly , will definitely comeback, great food selection!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this new discovery. I chose it because it had good ratings and I didn't want to travel all the way to San Francisco for a great Thai restaurant. I loved the pad thai and crispy cheese wontons. The wontons were definitely worth ordering two orders of!

My partner and I came to this restaurant for an early dinner, looking to try something new. When we arrived, there was only one other group finishing up. We were quickly greeted and seated, given menus and water. For our starter, we decided on the Island Finger Lumpias. They were delicious and came with a plum sauce dip, although I preferred them without the sauce. For our main courses, we ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the Pumpkin Curry Chicken Soup. The Pad Thai was flavorful and filling, with peanuts adding a nice texture. The Pumpkin Curry Chicken Soup was a hit with my partner, who loved every spoonful of the dish full of vegetables, squash, and chicken in a rich pumpkin broth. The service was friendly, with our server ensuring our water glasses were always full. We recommend giving this place a try and supporting a local business.

The meat on 3 of the 4 dishes was very hard chewing. The flavors were very good.
