I was hesitant to book this restaurant based on location, we tend to avoid the Concord Mills area but we love BJs in other locations so we gave it a try. The hostess was the only thing at all that could use any improvement. She didn’t greet us when we came in at all until I spoke to her encourage her to acknowledge us. What Elizabeth Tugyi doesn't like about Bj's Brewhouse Charlotte:
We used to LOVE BJs Brewhouse in Orlando in the 2010s but the chain gas gone down hill with lower staff and higher prices. This is a trend post Covid. Beer was still good but prices have really gone up on food, which is expected to some degree but they used to have lower priced 1/2 orders of apps and things that made it unique. First time dining and it was a great experience! Would recommend friends.
Chris, my server was TRULY the BEST 100%. His attention to our table and his overall kindness made up for the lack of taste in the food.
Server was new and was ok. I asked for more marina sauce for the mozzarella sticks and she never brought it. Pizza was not as good as the first time I had it.
Enjoyed our meal, would definitely go back. Sat at the bar while waiting for the table and you would have thought we were invisible. Bartenders need serious training on customer service!!! Had to ask to be served and then was made to feel like we were an inconvenience. Once we got a table the service was great!
Very expensive for what it is. And also you have a big sign by your front door, saying certain appetizers or seven dollars and nachos or four dollars between 3 and 7 PM and then teeny tiny print that you can’t even see it says bar only. So of course we ordered and paid full price. Didn’t appreciate that. Not sure who made that song by putting borrow me a teeny tiny letters with everything else giant no one’s gonna see that you did it on purpose. Probably won’t dine here again.
